Lesson I-1 – Malt

This tasting is to help calibrate the flavor of malt. I have chosen Paulaner Salvator as it has a luscious malty richness that is relatively unobstructed by hops or anything else. Other good examples of malt are the other doppelbocks (celebrator, optimator) or oktoberfests and scotch ales.
